Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
Using a mixer (if possible), cream together the butter, cane sugar, and brown sugar until combined.
Beat in eggs and vanilla
Gradually add in the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Add chocolate chips and mix well so they evenly distributed throughout the dough.
Roll the dough into balls, however big or small you want your cookies.
Bake in preheated oven for approximately 10-14 minutes. Take them out when they are just barely starting to turn brown. I take them out before they look done and let them sit to give a gooey, chewy cookie!
